Summary:

Develop maps in Sterling Integrator or similar industry software (ITX, Gentran, SEEBURGER) to translate files, any to any.
Lead and facilitate customer/project “Kick off “session to gather requirements and educate customers on product and services.
Setup clients on the EDI system for payments processing.
Participate in pre-sales activities, deals and pipeline reviews.
Identify improvement opportunities through data analytics, stakeholder and customer interactions.
Develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders across divisions.

Education/Experience:

Associate's degree in computer science or relevant field - preferred. 5-10 years experience required.

Skills and Competencies:

Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills. Must have a strong command of the English language written and oral. Ability to work independently and manage one's time. Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle: from business/systems analysis, through requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery. - Ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue. Strong analytical skills - familiar with EDI file formats, Flat File, BAI file formats. Previous experience with Batch files, MS Excel and MS Access data base. Exposure to mainframe applications, TSO, OVS, CICS or other similar applications.

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Analyze and design technical specifications for mapping EDI customer files. Work with Customers, Cash Management Product, Operations and Technology areas to implement new EDI customer. Work with Application Vendor and Technology to implement application enhancements. Prepare comprehensive test plans and scripts and act as liaison between operations/customers and programmers to address system problems. Familiar with test methodologies. Write test plans, test scripts, execute test plans and validating test results.
