Position Responsibilities:

  • Support the Global Program Team Director (GPTD) and Global Program Team in executing the agreed development strategy
  • May deputize for GPTD
  • Responsible for meeting preparation and meeting follow-ups (e.g. minutes, actions items) in close collaboration with the GPTD
  • Develops communication to senior management (e.g. in updates, presentations/slide decks, etc.)
  • Supports sub-teams with clarity of deliverables and accountabilities, meeting preparation and documentation as well as integration into the overall program strategy
  • Diligently monitors the project progress via cross-functional alignment and proactively reporting changes/deviations
  • Initiates measures to ensure the successful completion of the project within agreed timelines as well as budget and resource requirements
  • Monitors program risks and adapts/defines new risks in close collaboration with Global Program Team members and Risk Management team
  • Supports the Global Program Team with set-up/execution of contracts with external parties/vendors (e.g. consultancy agreement)
  • Provides US-specific market insight data to support our global development strategy
Job Qualifications, Experience & Skills
  • BS required, MS or PhD highly desirable, in a life science discipline (i.e. in biology, chemistry, pharmacy and business)
  • 5+ years of biotech/pharmaceutical industry experience, working successfully in cross-functional & matrix teams
  • Management consulting experience is a plus
  • Working knowledge of drug development process, regulatory and business requirements
  • Advanced therapeutic knowledge in oncology, immunology and/or antibody-technology preferred
  • Knowledge of resource management and headcount planning
  • Experience supporting project leaders/teams/plans at variety of levels
  • Well-organized, people-oriented, self-starter, capable of managing complexity with excellent time management skills
  • Flawless execution skills and high level of attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to effectively collaborate cross-functionally in a globally diverse organization
  • German as a second language, fluent or conversational, desirable
